Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Origin (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Origin is the evidence layer for high-consequence AI agents. The Service runs a deterministic, configuration-bound reference check over an exact agent configuration and issues a tamper-evident attestation that can be re-verified offline. A runtime policy gate and a controlled tool-call proxy path are proposed pilot architecture, not deployed general enforcement. The Service produces a tamper-evident, hash-chained evidence package showing what an agent did, why it was allowed, and who owned the risk. It is intended to help teams get high-consequence agents through security review and to demonstrate afterward what happened. The Service is currently offered as a prototype for private-pilot use to selected pilot participants or design partners under a pilot engagement. It is not production SaaS. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or remove functionality over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. What you own and control

Origin is decision-support and evidence infrastructure — not the operator of your agents, tools, or systems. You retain control at all times and are solely responsible for the agents you deploy, the tools and systems you connect, the business decisions those agents support, the reviewers who approve them, and your production environments.

4. What Origin provides — and what it does not

Origin provides a deterministic reference check, attestations, audit records, and evidence infrastructure; policy enforcement and a controlled tool-call proxy path are proposed pilot architecture. These are decision-support tools. Origin does not provide legal advice, compliance certification, or a guarantee that any reviewer, auditor, or authority will approve an agent or workflow. Evidence packages are “review-ready,” meaning built to be handed to a reviewer; that is not a representation that any reviewer has accepted or approved them. Records are “tamper-evident,” meaning tampering is detectable through replay and digest checks. Nothing in the Service constitutes a warranty of security, safety, correctness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to harm others; (b) attempt to bypass the Service’s policy enforcement, proxy path, security, rate limits, or access controls, or to route agent side effects around the controlled proxy; (c) use the Service to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data; (d) connect agents or tools you are not authorized to operate; (e) reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except as permitted by law; or (f) use the Service to develop a competing product by copying it.

6. No live agent-initiated money movement

The Service is a prototype and does not permit an AI agent to autonomously move money. Any payment shown in a demonstration is a human-created payment link confirmed by a signed webhook; the agent never touches live funds, and any amount so captured is not customer revenue. You must not rely on the Service to authorize, initiate, or settle financial transactions on your behalf.

7. Third-party services and connected tools

The Service integrates with third-party software, model providers, cloud platforms, and the internal tools and systems you connect. Your use of those systems is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their operation, availability, security, or outputs.

8. Intellectual property

Origin and its content are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. You retain ownership of content you submit, including your policies, agent configurations, and traces; you grant us a license to host and process it to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. It is an early-stage prototype and is not production SaaS. Policy verdicts, proxy behavior, audit records, and evidence packages are decision-support outputs for supervising agent work; they are not certifications, legal or compliance advice, or guarantees of approval, safety, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Origin and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, including any loss arising from an agent action, a policy decision, or reliance on an evidence package. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Origin is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise. (Governing-law placeholder — to be finalized with the operating entity’s jurisdiction.)
